NBA Stars to Watch For In The 2018-19 Season

Now with the best NBA players have the ability to choose the next team they play with, this could make this season very interesting.

Here are 7 players to watch for

Paul George, of Oklahoma City, who everyone has been looking at where he will be going next, ever since he got to Oklahoma.  We will have to wait and see what happens, as there are a few teams that could all be in the market for players like George, James, and Leonard.

LeBron James, Cleveland, who at 33 years old and in his 15th season is still the best player in the world.  Will he leave this team again for one that can give him a better secondary playmaker, in order to take the offensive load off of him?  With James shooting percentage at 62.1 percent any team will be glad to have him.

J.J. Redick, Philadelphia, who signed last summer a one-year $23 million deal.  Redick is a great offensive player, an aggressive shooter and keeps the defense on their toes.

Isaiah Thomas, L.A. Lakers became a liability after returning from his hip injury and then surgery.  Once top-five MVP now he may have to settle for a short-term deal and a bench role in order to be able to restore his value around the league.

Dwyane Wade, Miami is not one of the 10 best free agents out there. But he’s a future Hall of Famer who has said that Miami is the only team he’ll play for going forward.

Julius Randle, L.A. Lakers, is proving to be a really good scorer in the final year of his rookie deal.  Comparing him to 126 other players, with at least 500 field goal attempts over the last two seasons he had the 5th biggest increase in shooting percentage from 54 percent to 61 percent.  But with the Lakers’ having eyes on bigger names Randle might get displaced.

DeMarcus Cousins, New Orleans, might be a risky choice after he tore his Achilles.  The Pelicans don’t have the cap space to replace him and giving him a contract is a little dangerous at this point.
