Venture Capitalist Trading Cards

Get ’em while they’re hot! Have you placed your order for Venture Capitalist Trading Cards yet?

TouchBase created the VC trading cards, which were released a little earlier this month.

Each VC card has that all too familiar baseball card feel, but better. On the back of each card contains the investors’ stats, including key investments and how many startup exits each has had.

Who is the mastermind behind these VC trading cards?

Danielle Baskin created them when she needed to raise money for her startup YourBoss. Initially, she just thought it would be a good idea for her to have flash cards so she could remember each investor she was planning to pitch.

This is when TouchBase Venture Capitalist Trading Cards were born. Like many startups, it all started in her San Francisco garage. Printing large sheets in her garage, she is keeping track of every card on a spreadsheet. To keep the collecting fun, she is varying the number of cards for each VC, some will be rarer than others.

The cards available include rare cards from the 1994 Sand Hill Road Series, the 1992 Private Equity Series, the 2010 Gig Economy Series, the 2015 Unicorn Series, a misspelled card and more.

The set includes celebrity VCs. Like Ashton Kutcher, who is a prolific investor. Kutcher’s firm an A-Grade Investments holds stakes in the like of Uber, Airbnb, and Pinterest.

Where can you find these Venture Capitalist Trading Cards? is the top online seller. Each pack ordered will contain five cards and you never know which VC you will get.
Some might be rare cards like Mike Markkula an angel investor in Apple and Jenny Lee investor in Alibaba.

Don’t see your favorite VC trading card, all you have to do is ask on the TouchBase’s website, and maybe just maybe you will see your favorite on one of the cards in the future.

At a price tag of $59.99, it might be too steep for some but not for the real collectors. Keep in mind they probably aren’t going to be around forever, Baskin’s tell her first run maybe her last.
